Rutland RR Middlebury Depot

Based on photographs, Rutland Railroad Valuation Department records, and measurements of the prototype passenger depot (now an auto parts store) in Middlebury, VT.  A classic example of Victorian Style architecture, this wood-frame depot features a slate, hipped roof with a distinctive, centrally-located tower.  The tower is decorated with beveled shingles set in geometric patterns.  Stations of similar design were used in Shelburne, Proctor, and Pittsford.  Our kit features one-piece castings for the roof and tower assemblies with are complete with slate and decorative shingle detailing so distinctive of this station.
