Rutland RR Section House -
Also known as a tool house, our kit of this Rutland RR standard frame section house was constructed from the measurements of the prototype in Vergennes, VT. This style of Rutland RR section house features, clapboard siding, a slate roof (later replaced in many instances with a tar paper roof), and a sliding door located on the gable end of the building. Rutland RR stations with section houses of similar construction include Brandon and East Wallingford, VT.
